This playlist is Brighton in sound — but it’s also personal.

When I first stepped outside hip hop, trying to understand what lived around it, I was mesmerised by artists like Quantic, Bonobo, and Alice Russell. Around 20 years ago, it all led back to Tru Thoughts — a sound that felt soulful, global, and quietly revolutionary.

I wouldn’t have imagined then that two decades later I’d be living here, let alone hosting an art show in this city. This playlist sits in that full circle moment — music, place, time, and Arrival all meeting in Brighton.
