Irena Ocepek
illustration & visual arts
Irena Ocepek is an illustrator and visual artist from Ljubljana, Slovenia. Educated at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, she works across art, illustration, comics, and design. Her practice is grounded in the expressive potential of visual media, creating a dialogue between conceptual depth and visual storytelling.
Irena treats storytelling as a ritual, using narrative and imagination to confront silence and reveal the fragile architectures of belief. She creates liminal spaces where folklore becomes a bridge between the observable and inner realities, navigating the subconscious through layered, poetic worlds.
